The weekend journey

What will your child experience?

Three short, interactive sessions built around real-life situations children already recognise — short enough to hold attention, meaningful enough to start a habit.

DAY 1 – FRIDAY

Meet Yourself

  • What are feelings?
  • Thoughts, words & actions
  • The 7 choices of the chart
  • Make one conscious choice

Take-home practice:
Make one conscious choice each day.

DAY 2 – SATURDAY

Understand Yourself

  • Recognise different feelings
  • What happens inside me?
  • How thoughts influence feelings
  • Pause before reacting
  • Choose a better response

Take-home practice:
Notice one feeling, what caused it & what choice you made.

DAY 3 – SUNDAY

Grow Yourself

  • Look back & learn
  • What made me proud?
  • What was difficult?
  • What can I try next time?
  • My goal for the coming week

Take-home practice:
One small goal for the week ahead.

Included with the challenge

The weekend ends.
The journal keeps going.

Three live sessions teach your child the practice. This daily journal is what carries it into everyday life — a full month of small, tickable choices they fill in themselves, then look back on together at the end.

  • 7 daily practicesBe kind · Tell the truth · Love everyone · Help others · and three more
  • Thought, word and actionEach practice is tracked three ways, so children see the whole picture
  • 31 days on one pageA month of progress the whole family can see at a glance

Look Back & Learn

At the end of each month the journal turns into a conversation. Four questions, answered together:

1What did I learn about myself this month?
2What made me feel proud?
3What was difficult — and what can I do next time?
4What are my goals for next month?

“I am the master of my choices. Every day I grow a little better.”

A mother’s journey · A global mission

Know Your Teacher

Because this journey began with one mother wanting to help her own child.

A mother and her young son sharing a learning moment together

I’m a mom on a journey of helping my 5-year-old understand his feelings, make thoughtful choices and grow into a kind, confident and mindful human being.

As I learned what helped my own child, I realised how valuable these simple everyday tools could be for other families too — so I want to share them with children around the world, in a way that feels playful, practical and easy for families to bring into everyday life.

❤️Understand feelingsHelp children notice and name what is happening inside.
🛡️Make better choicesGive children a pause between feeling something and reacting.
🌱Grow every dayFocus on small, realistic choices rather than perfection.
I'm learning, unlearning and growing every day — so I can help more children grow a little better, every day.
Why this approach

We are not asking children to be perfect.

We are helping them become more aware of the choices they make — one small, conscious choice at a time.

Notice

“What am I feeling right now?”

Understand

“What happened inside me?”

Choose

“What could I do next?”

Questions parents may have

Does my child need to attend all three sessions?

We recommend all three — the weekend is designed as one connected journey. If a session is missed, the parent can still continue the simple activity at home.

Does a parent need to stay with the child?

Parent or guardian involvement is recommended, especially for younger children who may need help with the chart and activities.

Will children have to share personal or private experiences?

No. Children take part at a level that feels comfortable to them and are never required to disclose sensitive personal information.

Is this therapy or counselling?

No. This is an educational self-awareness and emotional-learning experience for children. It is not a substitute for professional mental-health care.

Is this the same as the adult Feelings & Emotions course?

No. The adult Feelings & Emotions course is a separate, self-paced video series. This 3-Day Kids Challenge is a separate, live interactive weekend Zoom program designed specifically for children (Ages 3–12).

How much does this kids challenge cost? Is upfront payment required?

Registration is free and requires no upfront payment. The program is purely donation-based (you can donate anywhere from $2 to $99). We will send the donation details directly to you over email and WhatsApp after you register.

What do we need to join?

A device with Zoom, a quiet corner, and something to colour with for the activity chart. We send the link and a short preparation note after registration.
